Today Wigtown celebrates its 25th year as Scotland’s Book Town.

Cairnholy I, a 5000 year old Neolithic chambered tomb, on the hillside near Creetown. With spectacular views across Wigtown Bay and the Solway Firth to the Isle of Man, this must have been a very special place.
