Today at #JSM2020 , Haochang Shou presents work with Andrew Chen and Russell Shinohara in 'Correcting Batch Effects in the Covariance Structures of Spatially-Dependent Multivariate Object' 🧠
Need to harmonize multi-batch longitudinal data in a LME setting? Great news! Our Longitudinal ComBat paper is out now in NeuroImage doi.org/10.1016/j.neur… Updated with new figures. R package available here: github.com/jcbeer/longCom… Kristin Linn Russell Shinohara Christos Davatzikos
At Biostatistics, we saw a year-over-year doubling of new submissions for March & April. The pandemic is having a disparate impact on productivity (e.g., timeshighereducation.com/blog/women-sci…).
For May, submissions dropped back down. (This doesn't mean the disparate impact went away.)
Great talk yesterday by Haochang Shou ! Our CovBat harmonization method with Russell Shinohara is featured at #OHBM2020 as poster #1249, viewable online andy1764.github.io/OHBM/Removal-o… and the updated preprint is here biorxiv.org/content/10.110… #OHBM2020 Posters
Brilliant, insightful TUTORIAL - how to COMBINE BRAIN DATA across scanners: Dr Haochang Shou highlights new work on ComBat, new variants to handle longitudinal data, +site-dependent image covariance; kudos Haochang Shou Joanne Beer Christos Davatzikos
