In 2015 the UK was in 1st place. Less than a decade later, it is now in 16th place. While other countries have continued to make much needed progress, the UK is stuck in the past, with politicians using LGBTQIA+ rights as a political football to distract from their own failings.

I'm proud that Iceland has made significant changes for LGBTQIA+ people in recent years, which has earned us the top place in TGEU's trans rights map. This is due the commitment of charities, grassroots organisations and individuals who have tiredlessly worked towards it.

This initiative allows trans people like me to self-test with dignity 🏳️‍⚧️✨
