Hi Edinburgh Council Help. This rather large & very deep hole & added injury threatening metal spike(?) has been reported numerous times. We used to try to replace the big heavy metal lid but someone appears to have nicked it now. Can you please chase up? Thanks!

All new housing in Edinburgh seems to resemble housing elsewhere in Edinburgh nowadays, without establishing any kind of appealing, specific, locally adapted, Scottish architectural vernacular. I like Block 1's pitched-roof nod to Stables but the rest is bland.
New Town & Broughton CC I think: (1) It may be physically impractical to build the whole development simultaneously. (2) Plan is for CEC to gain planning permission for 'Area 2' and then sell site to a private firm to develop/build later.
