Just heard that Felipe Romero passed away. He was a founding member of Del Rio's El Llanito Country Club and an unlikely state champ golfer, as depicted on the big screen in the movie 'The Long Game.' Mr. Romero was also smart, kind, and helpful. Wish I'd known him better. RIP.
