Amazing Speed Watch volunteers! 😊
Saanich Police & Victoria Police volunteer combined forces with BC Highway Patrol to remind drivers of their speeds! 🚗When you drive at safer speeds, you can prevent crashes & protect the lives of all road users on B.C. roads. ICBC

Today Victoria Police hosted over 30 Kindergarten & G1 students from George Jay Elementary to help build community relations between police & students. Students loved seeing the police dog, watching officers rappel down the side of a building & sitting on the MC. Great field trip!
For the second weekend in a row, VicPD responded to reports of youth fighting and using pepper spray in the #Esquimalt area.

Adam Stirling Ace Ventura: Pet Detective would have been proud. It was somewhat of an “unBEARable” day for Victoria Police. These 2 calls kept our officers “buzzing”. But seriously, there’s no time for “hibernation” in this City, we’re busy bees.
Busy day for Victoria Police Pet Detectives. 7:30am black bear in a tree in Burnside Gorge neighborhood. BC CO Service tranquilized the bear & transported. 3pm, swarm of bees Blanshard/Fisgard, multiple 911 calls, peds diverted for safety, Beekeeper called. Interesting day

A ton of fond memories walking into my old Elementary school. Had a great visit with Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 classes at George Jay Elementary. Thanks for inviting Victoria Police. Inquisitive minds had lots of great questions.
