The shorebird team have been hard at work today erecting new fences at Greenshank’s Creek. This is to ensure that nests outside of the existing sanctuary area are protected from unintentional disturbance from visitors. Please respect signage and avoid the fenced off areas.

Our first Curlew chicks tagged here on Bowland this week! Lots to learn about their movements and other pressures these lil guys face in their first few weeks.
