Six percent is the percentage of Americans who make over the cap.

Yet, many who have been convinced to do the bidding of the ultra-wealthy will oppose this.

Social Security is a program for everyone, rich or poor, and it should be taxed accordingly so our children can enjoy it…

Today's report from the trustees of Social Security found that the program will run dry in 2033. Why?

As the rich have gotten richer, more of their income has escaped the cap on the SS payroll tax.

We should be focused on fixing this by scrapping the cap, not cutting benefits.

Message to all you major critics of public schools: Remember when not so long ago when Iowa public schools were #1 in the nation? Remember when it was a priority to fund them by spending public tax dollars on them instead of private ones? Remember collective bargaining?… 1)

This is just sad. VA Choice was signed into law by President Obama in 2014, not by him. With the help of Democrats, he signed the MISSION Act in 2018 that made some changes to that law. Either he's very confused about what happened, or he's lying. But President Obama helped…

There is no 'gun ban', Iowa AG Brenna Bird.

If they are innocent gun owners as you say, then going to an FFL to submit a background check should be no issue.

It takes 15-minutes. Protects the seller, and the buyer. I've done it.

Keeps guns out of the hands of criminals and domestic…

Always impressed by meteorologists during severe weather like this. They don’t get a break and have so many relying on them. Very appreciative of the local news efforts.

It’s a sad day when basic public services have to rely on donations to stay operating.

DART helps the environment, reduces congestion, and provides people an economic means to get around in Des Moines.

Noncompete agreements have truly gotten out of hand. They significantly restrict employee flexibility and have often been abused across various industries.

Many employees subjected to these agreements do not have access to R&D or intellectual property, which makes the…

Honest talk on 'school choice'. 🧵

We have a son who is having a hard time in public school as resources are stretched thin. So we applied him for private school hoping the smaller class size would help with teachers that are not always feeling like their job is under fire.

As Ukraine aid heads toward passage, it's worth watching Johnson's press conference from earlier this week. And I mean watch, not just read. Because he truly sounds like he's been terrified by the intelligence briefings he's received.
