In my experience this whole 'generation' shit started when all of a sudden millennials were this new and improved 'generation' that craved zero hours and flexibility and hated workers' rights. I think it's mostly a tool to destroy solidarity.

#LandIsNotProperty Mwalimu Wandia Actually, the 8-5 working hours came from industrial revolution. It was arbitrarily adpted to manage british striking workers who'd work upto 18 hours a day, a health hazzard. At independence, we just got on with it, without examining whether or not its is fit for us.
