It's pretty mind-blowing that an aunt of mine (not a great-aunt) died 120 years ago the day before yesterday.

I'm sorry to hear of the death of Liz Yorke, once a colleague at Nottingham Poly. One of those academics in lesbian studies who couldn't get teaching jobs in the hostility of the late 1980s, Liz worked in student support services when we met. She was later a psychotherapist.
