Prof. John Tuhe Kakitahi joined us Makerere University as a Lecturer at the Institute of Public Health (IPH) in 1973, now #MakSPH . He was a hardworking, intellectual house surgeon with clinical acumen pediatrician, researcher, and nutritionist. Rest In Peace!

✅ Starting Sooner

→ Networking felt like a buzzword until I realized its actual value.

→ If I could return, I would start building my network from day one.

→ Engage with professionals in my field, attending

The partnership was only launched last week and I presume the next steps will be published online, including call for proposals for grants in specific areas of focus.

The recently launched Air Quality Standards by National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), are a much needed & timely boost for Uganda to address air pollution.
