It was a privilege to record an episode about the brilliant, provocative Angel for HOW WOULD LUBITSCH DO IT? with Devan Scott. It's my favorite Lubitsch, one of my favorite films. I hope I was able to contribute something useful to its underrated reputation. Yay Lubitsch!!

In Review Online I reviewed Sarah Freidland & Rami Youniss' LYD, a speculative-futurist sci/fi doc on Palestine before & after the Nakba. It's not perfect, but cautiously understands the importance & utility of imagination in progressive movements. In theaters now! inreviewonline.com/2024/05/03/lyd/
