1/2: Last month, #NRCArcticNorthernProgram was at the Canada-Inuit Nunangat-United Kingdom Arctic Research Programme (CINUK) annual science meeting with our partners ITK, UK Research and Innovation / UKRI North America, PolarKnowledgeCanada, Parks Canada, FRQS.

Presenting with our #BARIN project team at the CINUK ASM today, speaking to our work & perspectives on 'Beavers and Socio-ecological Resilience in Inuit Nunangat' including Inuvialuit Imaryuk monitors Max Kotokak Sr & Kevin Arey, who we're lucky to have with us in Cambridge!

Our IQP-ASR team presented at the CINUK ASM today, showcasing some of our research on shipping risk. 12 of our 37 team members were able to attend from Pond Inlet and Arviat, Nunavut, Ottawa, Quebec City, Scotland and England!

This month, our focus is on the #BARIN project. Funded by PolarKnowledgeCanada ,FRQNT and UK Research and Innovation ,the project aims to understand the impacts of increasing populations of beavers across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR) in Inuit Nunangat.
