My top 10 albums of the year include albums released in recent years that I have heard from the first time in 2024.

I just heard on Broadcasting House #r4bh the rediscovered Barnsley Carol. As Artistic Director of Opera Rara I applaud the people who found this beautiful carol after 90 years, the Barnsley Youth Choir for singing it so well and BBC Radio 4 for broadcasting Bravo Arthur Godfrey!

Il Proscritto won the International opera award for best opera recording!!!! What a journey! Thanks to everyone involved. And long live OPERA RARA!!!!
