Back to work today after a fantastic week on the Isle of May, staying in the Bird Observatory. Quiet week bird wise but stayed with a great bunch of people that more than made up for it. Highlights were two Barred Warblers, Minke Whales, Seal pups and Storm Agnes Isle of May Bird Obs

Just back after a fantastic few days helping out with seabird monitoring and BTO bird ringing on Glunimore, Sheep Island and Sanda. Absolutely incredible experience, stunning location and heartening to see many species doing well and no evidence of HPAI in these colonies.

We made the most of the solstice yesterday SCENE to have some fun after work! We went for a swim and a sunset hike! Great views and great company, what more could you want?
