We have a new acquisition donated by The peoples History Museum! This silver chain was once worn by all the presidents of the Women’s Co-operative Guild in Small Heath, West Midlands from 1921 – 1950!

Today is international family day. Did you go shopping with your family, write the shopping lists or stick the dividend stamps in the book?
From our photograph collections this image from the 1960s shows all the family shopping at the supermarket. #FamilyDay #CoopArchive #Coop180

We are off to Walsall FC Official tomorrow for Your Co-op AGM and Fairer Living Festival, lets see how many people from Walsall we can dress up in silly hats?
It's 180 years since the Rochdale Pioneers came up with the principles that co-ops still use today.
Is the warm weather coming yet?
From our Co-operative College Collection, a group of students bask in the warm weather in the 1950s

What even is a bank holiday? They were started by ex Banker and politician Sir John Lubbock in 1871 to give people back the right to seasonal days off.
These are our May opening hours for the Rochdale Pioneers Museum and the National Co-operative Archive. We look forward to seeing you!

A leaflet from ICOM, the umbrella group for worker co-ops. Set up in 1971, it gave advice and training to worker co-ops in the UK.
In 2001, ICOM merged with the Co-operative Union to become Co-operatives UK who continue to advise and support co-ops.

Many co-op societies had their own sports and social clubs for staff creating a sense of belonging to the movement. We received this photo from Nottingham of the co-op team in 1920. I wonder how many games they played and if they are still going? #Archive30 #SportArchive

Our team have been in sunny Manchester and Rochdale this week visiting Co-operative Heritage Trust archives and museum. A fantastic visit with such a warm welcome from our fellow co-operators.
Today for @ARAScot #Archive30 it’s #SomethingSmall . This tiny seal was made by co-operator George Jacob Holyoake about 1834 and would have been used when sealing his letters with wax. #CoopArchive #Coop180
