To end preventable maternal & child deaths, #MoH Austin Demby today received key free health care commodities worth £5.6 million from Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.Through this UK in Sierra Leone 🇬🇧🇸🇱 partnership,there has been a 90% survival rate of babies at Kingharman Road Hospital in the last 4 months

After he received two fuel cards yesterday worth 6000 liters from Conex Energy, Austin Demby today handed over these cards, in the spirit of trust and transparency, to the leadership of Ola During and PCMH hospitals. #MoH remains grateful to Conex for the donation.

Conex Energy S\L just showed a true mark of service to the people of Sierra Leone by handing over to Austin Demby fuel cards worth 6000 liters. 3000 of this will go to PCMH and the other to Ola During Children's Hospital. Austin Demby is grateful for this kind gesture.

Funded by LAD, Global Fund, and the Government of Sierra Leone, the vehicles will significantly improve emergency response time and maternal and child health in #SierraLeone . 15 of the vehicles, including all 10 ambulances were funded by LAD and GoSL.

Another big boost for healthcare delivery in #SierraLeone , as the Ministry of Health's Austin Demby today received 19 vehicles, including 10 ambulances and 9 Prados. With 20 more to come, the vehicles will help improve referral systems and ease patients' access to healthcare.

Having got NPHA stood up,Austin Demby, led an #MoH delegation, including Prof. Foday Sahr, Executive Director of NPHA, to the #US to showcase the agency to its health counterparts in the States and to explore opportunities for possible collaborations.
