Heavy rainfall in Kenya has resulted in devastating floods & landslides, killing over 200 people and displacing almost 200,000. In response, EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 has allocated €1 million to support affected communities with cash assistance, including €500,000 in new emergency funding.

The ongoing floods in Kenya have had devastating consequences:

▪186 fatalities
▪133 people missing
▪117,000+ people displaced

€500,000 in EU emergency funding will support humanitarian organisations on the ground in providing assistance to those displaced by the floods. ↓

Food availability remains a challenge for many families in Sudan.
