Absolute joy to welcome UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency Representative to the UK back to her alma mater, the Essex Law School. her discussion of careers in the humanitarian field (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria) with students was enlightening and inspiring.
The last class of Human Rights Centre Human Rights Clinic this academic year. But the projects are not quite done yet. Three more months to go for that. I hope they had at least 50% of the fun I had teaching the module!
It was great to welcome alumna Vicky Tennant back to campus last week. Vicky is the UNHCR United Kingdom representative to the UK and came to chat with Human Rights Centre students about her career and the work UNHCR does to protect refugees around the world.
