Diabetes Scotland's #DiabetesTechCantWait campaign is up for Campaign of the Year at SCVO #ScotCharityAwards 2024!

With waiting times for life-saving diabetes tech high, the campaign is more essential than ever.

It is clear that Scotland's cultural sector is under enormous pressure, with cultural organisations crying out for support and venues & festivals under threat.

Yet, Scottish Government still won't heed Scottish Labour's calls for a crisis summit on festival funding.

Fantastic to join their reception Scottish Parliament to catch up with the Chair Joanna Baker, hear some excellent performances from Scottish Chamber Orchestra musicians and learn more about their valuable creative learning programme.

Scotland could strengthen relationships with Europe in many ways, including on culture & education, like Wales has done with their higher education exchange Taith scheme.

Delighted to join European Movement in Scotland #TalkingEurope panel to discuss the importance of these relationships.

Good to meet a CPG Pakistan delegation, including Prof Junaid Rashid from Children’s Hospital Lahore, Uzma Bukhari UNICEF Pakistan & NHS Team members

We discussed challenges facing breast feeding mothers. I look forward to working together to improve womens' health in Pakistan.

Great to warm up with a #poppyride & discuss with Poppyscotland their services for Scotland's armed forces community, including cost-of-living, employment & advice support.

Labour has done it before and we will do it again.

I firmly believe a better future for Scotland lies ahead of us.
