Can we normalise “normal” on social media? It’s not everyday perfectly curated posts with the perfect looking children and houses. Sometimes snot. Sometimes houses looking like a bombs gone off. We have become so used to seeing “perfect”, it’s become normal. It’s so unhealthy

Just today we heard about a woman who missed her child's medical appointments because the letters were never delivered to her site. The child was put into child protection plan for neglect. The woman couldn't cope with the shame and took her own life.

It seems that Black women are still 4 times more likely to experience maternal mortality MBRRACE UK. We need to continue the work to reduce disparities. The work of Fivexmore_ and many others are having an impact but we must continue action.
