As the nation has its say on the PVO Amendment Bill this week, today I will add my voice on Open Parly ZW, stating how the Bill seeks to shut civic space and offends a number of international laws and practices.

We acknowledge Ministry of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting's emphasis on the need to not politicize the distribution of food aid as the country battles food insecurity. We reiterate our call for the Social Welfare Dept to be in charge and allow the ZHRC, ZACC and civil society to monitor the distribution of aid.
We join the nation and the world in celebrating #WorkersDay
We reaffirm our support for 🇿🇼workers demanding a living wage and fair labour practices in terms of Section 65 of the Constitution.
We call on the government to do more in respecting labour rights
