The renationalisation of the railways is common sense and good politics.

Everyone can see that the system is broken, and the Tories can't attack it because they've renationalised most of the railways due to failing private operators anyway.

Last night, the Hillingdon Conservatives passed through their council budget.

It was based on cuts to services and increased costs for working people.

Hillingdon Labour proposed amendments, but the Conservatives rejected them.

I have written a letter to the council to request clarity on the future of Northwood Library following the recent announcement of it’s permanent closure.

Labour Councillors join Uxbridge residents in their campaign to save Uxbridge Library. Location matters to the residents.
Once again 1000s of signatures, protests and letters but Conservative run Council are not interested in the people of Hillingdon.

The safety initiative ‘Ask for Angela’ is being rolled out to licensed businesses across London. People who feel unsafe, vulnerable or threatened can discreetly seek help by approaching venue staff and asking them for ‘Angela’.
