A GFP doughnut? 🍩
Nope! It is a viroplasm-associated membrane labeled with the GCaMP8s sensor. There are NSP4 in them there membranes! And I think there are some small Ca2+ fluxes detected.

Yesterday was a successful thesis defense by Dr. Lance Perry @lpbeats AND acceptance of his paper in mBio during the defense party.

Now today a new paper by Kristen Engevik was accepted in AJP-Gastrointestinal and Liver Physiology!

Wow - so much to celebrate!
