Six months after the #HeratEarthquakes , many families are still living in tents and need shelter support.
Last week, our teams provided cash grants to 869 families to help them build dignified transitional shelters.

On this #WorldHealthDay & every other day, IOM provides health services, referrals, and mental health & psychosocial support to displaced, returnees, & host communities in #Afghanistan .
Since Jan 2024, our teams have provided over 140K health consultations to vulnerable people.
Our teams continue to deliver emergency aid to people affected by the recent flash floods in #Afghanistan .
In #Faryab , we provided 72 families with:

🔦 Solar modules
🧥 Winter clothes

Nearly 525,000 Afghans have returned to #Afghanistan primarily through Torkham & Spin Boldak border crossings, w/ the vast majority being undocumented.
Most of them left everything behind and need assistance at the border & in the areas they return to. 👇
