I was honored to join the US Congressional team visit with the UN team to Tonga and impressed by the incredible work that IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳 team with other UN agencies and partners are doing to support communities in Tonga affected by the Jan 2022 volcanic eruption

We need to start embedding climate change #adaptation as a way of life.

Only 54 developing countries have a National Adaptation Plan (NAP).

The UN Climate Change and partners will support the other 100 developing countries in formulating their NAPs and identifying the needed funding.
