🌳 At our gardens across the UK, at The Castle & Gardens of Mey, Highgrove Gardens, and Dumfries House, we implement sustainable, organic practices and promote the health and wellbeing benefits of spending time in greenspace.
Earlier this month, we held an open day at our Highgrove Gardens education centres.
Members of the public were invited to tour our craft workshops and hear more about the training programmes available.

On #WorldHeritageDay , The King's Foundation is proud to celebrate our historic sites Dumfries House, The Castle & Gardens of Mey, Highgrove Gardens, and The Garrison Chapel, where we deliver education programmes in traditional building skills to help preserve historic buildings.
Raymond Blanc's Royal Kitchen Gardens is at The Castle & Gardens of Mey in this weekend's episode. Tune in at 11.30am on ITV1 on Sunday morning to see Raymond meeting head gardener Chris Parkinson to discuss produce from the kitchen garden and the work on the Caithness estate.
Architecture students at Oxford Brookes University will be mentored by our associate director Sarah Robinson as part of a scheme by Royal Institute of British Architects. Sarah has overseen projects in recent years including the restoration of Braemar Castle on Royal Deeside.

We are proud to announce that The King’s Foundation and The Akoje Residency have launched a new collaboration to enable up-and-coming African, Caribbean and diaspora artists to benefit from art residencies and training at Dumfries House.
Tutor and alumnus Tom Bree recently taught School of Traditional Arts students marquetry techniques using natural wood veneers.
The practice of sacred and traditional geometry is an integral part of our two-year MA programme.
