From the Cycle Hub by Ouseburn to Dunston Staithes, we delved into urban Sand Martins 🪹 the story of the #TyneKittiwakes 🐟 importance of the Tyne Estuary for species such as Shelduck & Redshank 🌊 and enjoyed chance encounters with a male Kestrel and cruising Buzzard.
Wake up Kittiwakes! Time to start collecting nest material (mostly seaweed/dry vegetation) for these 'Red Listed' highly sociable and colonial nesting gulls!
