The Three Sophias is the second phase of the Facing the Past Project which aims to tell the story of enslaved Africans that we know were in Lancaster. The sculptures were officially opened by a performance from local primary school Dallas Road Lancaster Priory

It was wonderful to mark the feast of Corpus Christi yesterday with Evensong and Benediction in the Ripley St Thomas CE Academy Chapel. Excellent singing (Ayleward/Morley/Byrd) from the Chapel Choir. Thanks to Leah Vasey-Saunders and Kaarina Leong from Lancaster Priory for leading the service.
