Home Office have updated the CPIN for Rwanda highlighting all of the serious risks including ‘forced exile & illegal arrests of LGBT people’.

While Parliament unilaterally decrees Rwanda ‘safe’ its civil service rightly disagrees.

On 22 April 1993, Stephen Lawrence, just 18 years old was murdered in an unprovoked, brutal racist attack.   His family have all fought tirelessly for justice. Let us remember Stephen in our hearts.

15th April 2023 forever etched in our memories.I moved back to Sudan in 2013 determined to never leave again, ten years later a militia & an army would force millions of us to leave. The war hasn’t stopped & doesn’t look like it will anytime soon.

Going forward, I refuse to call what is going on in Sudan, ‘the forgotten war’.

We have not forgotten, not for a moment.

I spent a lovely afternoon with the The Birth Partner Project today and a new group of volunteers. Talking about the asylum system is depressing, but I always find my time with the project heartening. It's wonderful to be in a room filled with a sense of humanity and support. ♥️
