It was great to meet Ammar Ali Jan here in Chicago yesterday and hearing him speak at the Pakistan Progressive Forum! It was refreshing to learn about the progressive movements taking place across Pakistan, spanning from farmers to trade unions! #ProgressivePakistan
Another reason why WomenLift Health is fantastic—they provided childcare! Conference attendees shouldn’t have to decide between a professional opportunity and being a parent.

Global spaces are opportunities for policy formulation; there is need to remove structural barriers to these opportunities by considering localization of these spaces.
These include holding them in locations closer to the majority, and reducing visa barriers.

After a thought-provoking panel at WomenLift Health, I’m energized by the focus on transformative leadership in philanthropy & beyond. Grateful for the opportunity to share insights on the importance of women in leadership & their role in achieving gender equality.
Finally had an opportunity to meet, in-person, the bold advocate for women’s rights and women’s leadership Helen Clark
She discussed the importance of quotas to advance women leaders and also moving beyond quotas to examine systemic issues
