Speakers reaffirmed the necessity of protecting the environment and the restoration of #wetlands while highlighting the role #women and #youth play.

Today, Fernanda Renée Samuel launched her book, 'Birds of the Lobito Wetlands', with #Angola & Convention on Wetlands, supported by GENeva Environment Network.

Today the Secretary General of the Convention on Wetlands Dr. Musonda Xoliswa Mumba held discussions with Ambassador Sharaf Sheralizoda, Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to to the United Nations in Geneva, underscoring why wetlands matter in the water global agenda.
