In England for those wanting to access our Sheffield Family service those traumatising funding processes remain. 4/4

There is a long way to not least in up skilling drug workers and social workers on how families can be supported most effectively. We are grateful to the Scottish Gov for recognising that. National funding for Harper House removes one of the barriers. 3/4

The barriers are huge, the only way families, most especially Mums have a chance is to fund services and not expose Mums & their children to humiliating & traumatising funding mechanisms. 2/4

Harper House was born from our Sheffield service. Phoenix has been delivering family residential interventions for over 40 years. It doesn't get any easier for families wanting help with their drug use and for parents who want to remain as carers for their children 1/4
