My point is just the opposite: let people do their work. Do not judge their intentions based on your assumptions.
There are good people running imperfect trials as much as there are good people writing DEI papers and not being able to fix the world.

Manni Mohyuddin I beg to differ- you need to know the current status to assess the impact with efforts to mitigate the disparities !! So yes, intervention studies to address disparities are important but you cannot completely negate the value of descriptive studies!!
