SPMA were proud to support the Govanhill Community Spring clean up organised by Faisal Yusuf and Al-Farooq Education & Community Centre, demonstrating an inclusive community spirit with over 100 volunteers, who were also provided with prizes and refreshments.
This week, Sgts Eaton, Bashir and Shivas attended at Men Matter Scotland engaging with staff about the positive work they do around raising awareness for mental health struggles in men across Scotland.

SPMA proud to support IR Scotland charity fundraisers with their Ben A’an trek raising over £10k which will be matched and funded to £20k and go towards providing 250,000 hot meals each day along with their partner World Food Kitchen to families in Gaza.
Our executive were absolutely honour e to attend and support the launch of the Police Scotland Sikh Association launch at the Police Scotland College, Tulliallan today . We wish our Sikh colleagues all the very best for the future and look forward to working alongside them within Police Scotland going forward.
SPMA members arranged Eid Lunch for the iSyllabus For School Students at Hamilton Islamic Centre (Hamilton Islamic Centre) as part of Youth Engagement, promoting Police values to the youth.
A kind donation from Sergeant Kevin Reynolds of Maryhill Police Office to SPMA for this 3 in 1 pram which will go to a young family through the Sarwar Foundation.

SPMA Youth Lead PC Amran Ali having set up the ‘Hamilton Islamic Youth Academicals’ organised an Iftar (opening of the fast) and launch party for the youngsters at Hamilton Islamic Centre this evening.
We were delighted to attend Police Scotland College to deliver an input to probationers from course 03/23. Our dedicated members PC Fereshteh Hosseini and PC Amran Ali attended and engaged with the probationers explaining the benefits of Diversity Staff Associations with Police Scotland
Following lessons on Valuing Diversity & Inclusion, Probationers from Course 03/23 are hearing from a variety of Staff Associations today, including SEMPER Scotland SWDF Scottish LGBTI Police Association DACA Police Scotland Scottish Police Muslim Association and the Christian Police Association. #LifeOfAProbationer
