As part of mentorship in the Fair Chance Program, our participants at Show Abilities Uganda underwent practical training on how to take professional videos and photos using tablets provided by UNICEF.

We concluded our 3 days training in economic empowerment of youth with disabilities in Kapchorwa district. They were equipped with skills in community mobilization, group formation, constitution development and record keeping, to effectively lead their peers. #EconomicEmpowerment

We had an inception meeting with the local duty bearers of Kapchorwa at Pacific Summit Hotel, to introduce our project on economic empowerment for youth with disabilities. The meeting was attended by the RDC, councillors for persons with disabilities among others.

The 3-days training and launch of the fair chance project funded by .UNICEF concluded over the weekend. Youth with disabilities received capacity enhancement in self-paced learning and community engagement to boost their essential life skills in the digital era.

SAU in partnership with .KYAMBOGO UNIVERSITY, .Katalemwa Cheshire Home & took part in the launch of the UNICEF funded Fair Chance Program. 100 young people with disabilities are currently undergoing orientation and training in self-awareness and life skilling to prepare for the journey ahead.
