On the 22nd of June, SOS members will join organizations from across the UK to unite and peacefully march through London, demanding action for nature.

The first successful young birder's scheme applicants have been selected. The SOS has provided kits and training days to aid their development. Further applications will be accepted later in the year, with a closing date of 1st October.

We're launching the SOS Neighbourhood Survey

Great Grey Shrike at Black Down this morning after the fog cleared. Showed well. After 6 or 7 searches in the last fortnight it was nice to finally find this elusive bird which has been mobile over a large area.
