🔴Ministry of HealthZW deputy minister Sleiman Kwidini has sensationally claimed that management at one of the country’s biggest hospitals, #UBH is scuttling govt efforts to run the institution smoothly amid allegations of corruption in awarding tenders and rampant theft of essential drugs.

It comprised of TI Global Vice Chair Dr. Ketakandriana Rofitoson, UNODC representative Ms. Maria Adomeit, TI Zimbabwe Executive Director Mr. Tafadzwa Chikumbu and LICOCO Executive Director Ernest Mpararo.

The 1st afternoon session began with a panel discussion moderated by TI Mauritius Exec Director Ms. Lovania Pertab. It included presentations on the nexus between Environmental Corruption & Inequality in Africa, & the Impact of Corruption on the Global Environmental Catastrophe.

The Director for Transparency International Zimbabwe addressing delegates at the African @IACCSeries. He shared the impacts of corruption to the environment including climate change. Implications to wildlife, livelihoods and the poor and vulnerable groups are ghastly to contemplate.
