Insightful session on 'Harnessing Green Finance for Sustainable Investments' at the Nepal Investment Summit 2024! Partnering w/ UNDP 🇳🇵, the GoN, and🇳🇵Investment Board, the session saw great collaboration and ownership from Hon. Vice Chancellor of National Planning Commission.

UN ASG Kanni Wignaraja visited Imja Lake, one of the high-risk lakes for #GLOF , & observed how UN Development+🇳🇵Govt, with support from Global Environment Facility (GEF), constructed a channel to lower the lake by 3.4 m, reducing the risk of an outburst, subsequently saving lives in the downstream communities.

UNDP Nepal, in partnership with APFWA, organized a one-day art workshop at the Armed Police Force HQ to galvanize the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence. The participants showcased their artistic skills and expressed their views on the themes through their artwork.
