“My mother’s last wish was for me to pass Grade 9. I made it come true,” said Hasan, 15, who lost his mother to the deadly earthquakes in #Syria in 2023.

He is one of 188,400 children reached through our Cash Transfer for Basic Needs programme thanks to support from EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺🇪🇺.

#Syria launched the first round of the Big Catch-up vaccination activity in partnership with the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization (WHO), @Unicef, @Gavi & Bryan Herta Autosport.

The activity aims to vaccinate as many children under the age of 5 as possible. 

Additional rounds are scheduled for July & October.
