We 🚴🏼‍♀️ oppose left turn only arrows at busy 2 lane roundabouts.
Why?
To go straight at these roundabouts, it necessates a cyclist to make an extra lane change in often hostile situations.
Where this is proposed, mitigation measures for cyclists must be included Lorraine Smyth.

On RTÉ Radio 1 today I spoke about the proposed mandatory 30 minutes of road safety policing per shift.

This is not the best use of Garda time.

There are far better enforcement options available - where are our red light cameras and online reporting!!?

The Newline Rd. has also claimed the lives of 2 cyclists in the not too distant past.
I cycle this road regularly - speed & dangerous overtaking are a common occurrence here.
Have never seen An Garda Síochána on that road..
