Today, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Somalia National Bureau of Statistics organized a stakeholder consultation on National Multi-dimentional Poverty Index in Mogadishu, bringing together various FGS institutions. The consultation was officially opened by the Director-General @Yusuf_wadani.

Stephen Barret from KasmoDev Consultancy Limited, conclusions from the fiscal study commissioned by #MoLSA indicate that the goal by the early 2040s is for the 🇸🇴 gov’t to be able to provide basic package schemes & with support from development partners, implement the Social Protection Strategy.
