The TOP AWARD of £3000 at the T&W High Sheriff Fund Award Ceremony went to Neetzotz Gateshead Council. They offer tutoring, mentoring, psychotherapy, training and social and recreational opportunities. Runners up each getting £2000 were 2214 (Usworth) Squadron and Northern Roots.

It was really great to be invited to meet Chris Lowther @TWFRS_CFO and team at The Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service. They really do an amazing job keeping us all safe with the BEST average response time of 6 minutes in England.

What a fabulous job Newcastle Cathedral with the renovation and every time I visit I'm wowed. At the moment they are holding an exhibition 'A Century of Wedding Gowns' which is so fitting for such a majestic place. We were lucky enough to be asked to exhibit my wife's wedding dress.
