Great to have started working with stellacreasy and the Labour Movement for Europe ๐น ๐ช๐บ team.
In the meantime, if you're a citizen of the below countries, make sure you register to vote in the European Parliament elections! A good showing for the S&D group in these elections is essential.
Tory hard Brexit โfreedomsโ would cost billions in extra paperwork and hassle- in a back room in parliament yesterday stellacreasy called them out for wasting British businesses time.

Thank you to our speakers this evening for a fantastic event, Hilary Benn and Claire Hanna. Thank you to our chair from Labour Party Irish Society Liam Conlon. And thank you to our LME members for a great attendance and thought provoking questions.
โCan a Labour Government improve our relationship with the EU?โ Hilary Benn โYes we can, our policy is clear we are not rejoining the customs union or EU, but we can work together to negotiate on things we can do, such as an SPS agreement or cooperation on peace and securityโ
โIn practice, if you are a producer and exporter from the UK and NI, you will be aligning with EU regulations in order to export there regardless of what the UK regulations may beโ Hilary Benn
โUK wants businesses to come and invest - however, itโs difficult for these businesses to make a 5 year plan without clarityโ Claire Hanna
โThe issue of labelling โNot for EUโ - it deals with feelings rather than the hard realityโ Claire Hanna
โGeography matters - we need to focus on nearer markets for many practical reasons such as fighting climate change.โ Claire Hanna
โAn SPS veterinary deal is the number one priority for business in the North and Southโ Claire Hanna
โOne of the ways we can combat a lot of these continued issues is by negotiating a veterinary SPS agreement with the EU. Something labour wishes to negotiate when in power.โ Hilary Benn
โItโs important to note, the Windsor framework is a developing process not a set agreement. With problems arising as we advance as trading partners with the EUโ Hilary Benn
