⭐️ How has it been 2 weeks since Condé Nast Traveller Top New Restaurant awards?! ⭐️

Been a bit crazy at chez Lir since we arrived home and got straight back into the thick of it… just wanna say thanks to everyone for their messages of support.. couldn’t be prouder of our team 🫶

Cross laminated dogfish sausage roll 🐟

The current roll includes dogfish sausage meat with black garlic (thanks Melissa Mccabe !), and house fermented chilli sriracha. What we particularly love is the collaboration on this dish with Vittle Bakeshop aka the pastry kings and queens

~ Coley scotch quails eggs
Coley, quails egg, gherkin ketchup + crispy capers

~ Mussel tartlet
feuille de brick pastry, mussel jelly and parsley + mussel emulsion

~ Smoked Mackerel ‘Profiterole’
mackerel pâté, gruyère cheese + gougère choux pastry

Snacks at Lir #1 ☘️

Guinness and treacle wheaten bread with house cultured butter made with Velvet Cloud sheep’s yoghurt 🐑

Fish skin crackling - our swerve on the meat classic and a step towards using every part of the fish served with wild garlic emulsion 🐟

To be included in John & Sally McKenna 100 best restaurants in Ireland is an absolute honour!

Reading through the Sunday Times gave a feeling of mass excitement to see how much our island has to offer and to be part of this culinary movement fills us with a great sense of pride ♥️

Can’t wait to pop this big bottle of bolly with the team when we get home!
