It’s a huge problem here in Dublin too. Pedestrians risk life and limb every day. And get nothing but abuse from cyclists when pointing out that footpath cycling is illegal. An Garda Síochána.

A week ago today Ireland’s voters rejected a morally bankrupt vote on carers.
My experience in courts every day tells me that key state bodies duck and dive but rarely strive when it comes to carers rights. I’m glad the whole political system got the wake up call they all need.

Absolutely agree. The lack of interrogation of the wording (including consultation with disabled citizens) prior to the party’s adoption of its stance is akin to collective bargaining by unions and govt. That is not what we want from opposition parties.
