Just over 10 years ago the U.S. FDA reported the “statistic” that drugs were ineffective for 75% of patients with cancer. That “statistic” was itself more than 10 years old but what did it mean? errorstatistics.com/2014/07/26/s-s… & do we need omics to tell testicular from lung cancer?

In our new paper, just out in Nature Communications, we show that arable farming leads to biotic homogenisation of belowground fungal communities and reduces fungal diversity across Europe. Rare fungi also became fewer or absent in arable lands nature.com/articles/s4146…
