Low socio-economic status ( #SES ) is associated with worse outcome in patients with Achilles #tendinopathy .

It may be caused by reduced health literacy, lower health status in general or insufficient financial resources for (para)medical guidance.

Children with heel pain have similar symptoms as adults with tendinopathy, but children demonstrate greater functional capacity.
