A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking transit , the Beltline, Economic Development, and loving neighbors with Ryan Gravel .

Have a (not so) quick listen if you enjoy such things:

😍 Very cool.

Put rail on the Beltline & turn this into an excellent urban corridor surrounded by infill homes (w/ affordability), offices, & more.

And *build great ped/bike paths like this everywhere* so that the Beltline isn't a rare destination for safe walking/cycling.

I wish the people hiring lobbyists to fight against inclusivity and opportunity on the Atlanta Beltline would instead fight to stop taxpayer investments in hate and exclusion like this.

The BeltLine is not just a park. Ryan Gravel made that extremely clear in his original vision before I was born, and this was reaffirmed by multiple administrations/ officials.

The AJC thinks that it can rewrite reality by linking to its past reporting. That is just dishonest

Trying to shut down a long-planned transit proposal while wishing you had a bigger front yard is peak Atlanta 2023.
