Steve Jobs’ commencement address at Stanford University is an incredibly poignant lesson on:

-connecting the dots
-love & loss
-death

Jobs had an unprecedented life— from Apple, Pixar, to battling , and eventually becoming a legend in design thinking.

1) reading books— teaches us the value of new ideas & perspectives

7) learning how to invest time— allows us to focus on what’s important to us

9) becoming a mentor— perhaps the most important— provides us an opportunity to give back to others

Why is success difficult?

Bc the climb gets steeper every day

Achieving higher levels of self-proclaimed “success” only gets harder, as we create new/tougher metrics every time we succeed

Negativity is a spiraling loop down-hill— the more you give, the more it pulls you down
